Derek Magill Derby has become part of the furniture here at the Welshpool festival he’s probably already known to most of the UK country music scene.
Derek Darby and his friend Dave Marr were once an award-winning country and western duo called “Magill”. Sadly, Dave Marr passed away, so Derek now performs solo in his former partner’s memory, taking their name as his own. His fun loving and entertaining show includes lots of audience participation, he is become so popular here at Welshpool festival that he’s booked to return for several years to come
