Malc Allan
Malc Allan is a Yorkshireman with a lifelong love for country music. Born on the North Yorkshire Moors, he grew up in a very musical family. From an early age, his father taught him how to sing and play the guitar, laying the foundations for his future career in music.
At the age of 16, Malc joined his first serious band, the York-based group Harmony, where he played lead guitar for several years. He later started his own band, Broken Spoke, a young group that gained valuable experience touring across the UK on the country music club circuit.
In 1993, the band Outlaw was formed. For the next seven years, Malc toured as the band’s frontman alongside close friends Ray Thornton, Dave Holdridge, and Norman Pearson. Many fans still fondly remember the band’s lively performances and the memorable, often crazy antics that took place on stage.
In 2000, Malc formed the MT Allan Duo, which went on to achieve great success, including winning the British Country Music Duo of the Year Award in 2008.
Today, Malc continues with his solo career while also heading up the NAM Artist Agency, keeping him as busy as ever in the country music scene.
