Tanya Turner
Tanya was born in Middlesbrough and has been listening to country music since she was a small child, as it was always played in her home. Influenced by some of the greats such as Patsy Cline, Merle Haggard, Don Williams, and Billie Jo Spears, she began singing at the age of seven, performing at local venues across the North East of England in support of various charities.
Playing rhythm guitar, Tanya loves entertaining and meeting people, something that is always clear when you see her perform. Her enthusiasm and natural connection with the audience make every performance special. She caters for listeners, line dancers, and western fans alike, performing a well-balanced mix of music to suit a wide range of venues.
Since returning to the country music scene, Tanya has won a club award for Best Solo Artist, an honour she was proud to receive. As her popularity continues to grow, she now finds herself travelling further afield and performing at new venues across the country.
